All Day Long

Well, this weekend somehow passed me by. I didn’t get a ride in, I really didn’t get much of anything done. But, I almost always get my dog to the park. You just can’t go with her and not smile. It’s her favorite thing; the frisbee. She could do this all day long. Too bad you can’t better see her snatch it out of the air. She’s successful 90% of the time. It’s just a wee film, but I hope it makes you smile too.

  1. Oh that was just awesome to watch! We used to share lives with an Austrian Shepard (sadly,he was killed a few years ago),and “fetch” was his absolute favorite…he actually preferred a shoe,LOL!

I love the way you posted the vids this time,if you don’t mind my asking,a breif description of how you did it would be killer (and thanks either way). The Wife loved it too,BTW πŸ™‚

  2. Thanks πŸ™‚ The parts where it was like one movie then another after, then another after, with the film real look around it (that’s probably something simple, but where I don’t have the setup in front of me until buying a new camera next month…LOL!) πŸ™‚

    1. I’m using a Contour Roam HD video camera called a POV. Each time you turn on the camera and then off you get a video clip. So I have several clips of video to start. I’m on a MacBook Pro with iMovie ’11 which is a film editing application. Within iMovie after importing the video clips from the camera, I edit the several clips (taking out the parts I don’t want), and put them in the order I want. I think you may be thinking of the “look” of the clips which has a filmstrip look to it. In iMovie you can select a theme for your clips, and the theme I chose was filmstrip. That’s why it looks the way it does; no special talents on my part. You also can choose the type of transitions you want between all the separate clips of video you have……hopefully to move from one video clip to another so as to make it look as natural (or not) as you can. Hope this helps.

  3. Thanks for taking the time to explain it,my friend πŸ™‚ This sounds very similar to the setup I had on our old PC (didn’t quite survive the house fire in June last year,LOL! :P) when I made movies…different companies, similar setup, and yes,I was referring to the filmstrip theme πŸ™‚
